Four programmes, one chain: we meet young people, teach them something they can earn from, get their siblings back into school, and help what they make find a buyer.
Ray of Hope is our flagship community outreach, now in its fourth edition. It runs over several weeks inside a single underprivileged community, combining encouragement with real, practical training.
Each edition closes with an exhibition, trade fair and awards ceremony. Trainees present what they have made, share what they learned, and — for many — earn their first income from something they created themselves. Parents and community members are invited to see it happen.

Ray of Hope 1.0 through 4.0, delivered across Ibadan communities since 2023.
This is the practical heart of our work. Over six weeks, children and young adults in a partner community learn a craft from scratch — and leave with something they made and the ability to make more.
Our cohorts run in the Isale Osun community, Ibadan North East, Oyo State, open to children and young adults aged 5 to 27. Parents are involved throughout. The six weeks end with a public exhibition and a trade fair where the trainees sell what they made; the funds raised go towards an empowerment centre in the community and towards the next cohort.
Sessions are taught by foundation volunteers and specialist tutors. You can see who they are.
Sling bags, scrunchies and small accessories, worked by hand.
Traditional Yoruba tie-dye and indigo textile work.
Books and journals bound in ankara cloth.
Abandoned tyres rebuilt into stools and tables.
Finding buyers, pricing, and calculating profit so the business lasts.
Seminars run with the sustainability NGO The AID NG on indiscriminate waste disposal.
Programme format, venue, age range and skill list as reported in the Nigerian Tribune, 7 October 2023 — “How NGO empowered Ibadan children with business skills”. The partnership with The AID NG is named in the same article.

Length of each cohort, ending in a public exhibition and trade fair.
Back to School is our direct education-support programme, now in its third edition. We work with families who have been forced to choose between school and survival, and we remove that choice by covering the practical costs of attendance.
School fees, uniforms, textbooks, exercise books, writing materials and school bags.
Concentrated around the start of each academic session, with follow-up through the term.
Roughly what one pupil needs in writing materials to return to school. Every amount counts.

Beyond the Borders is the campaign under which we extend our reach past our immediate community. Need does not stop at a state line, and neither should our response to it.
Back to School 3.0 ran under this banner. As we grow, Beyond the Borders is how we take the model — outreach, training, education support — into new communities with local partners on the ground.
